The headache part of it would continue working for about twelve hours, at which point I would need to take another of the vials if my headache hadn’...t subsided by then. She only carried a few vials of the stuff on her at a time, but she would have a case delivered to my room by the end of the night. I was happy about hearing that, as it was a pretty nasty headache. Drinking it down, I re-stoppered the vial and she handed the second item to me.The item was a case. Upon opening it, I saw that. I slipped out of the house quietly with my stuff and saw my cousin opening the rear of the minibus. I quickly threw my stuff in and went to get in the side door. Everyone was. "God what was that game we used to play?" Game?" I said casting my mind back."You know the one where you tried to throw the other off the sofa," she said."Oh yes, Pirates," I said, "we use to throw the other off to the sharks." That's it Pirates," she giggled, "god you use to get me so hot." Hot," I laughed, "if I remember rightly you just used to wear some flimsy nightie." Nightie?" she mused, "no, no it was my 'Baby Doll', they were all the rage then." Yeah that's right," I said thinking. She seemed so happy and bouncy before he took her aside and let go with what was on his chest. Leaving her to drink and laugh off what had been said. She was nice and offered to pour me a drink while she was at her 5th for the night, beginning a conversation without me even talking. A nod and a smile and suddenly she could confide in me, and rely on me to keep her company for the night. She clenched her teeth and breathed through them shakily again, tightening her grip on my shirt as she sobbed.
