In the evening our principal asked me to stay back , coz our school anniversary was nearing and Beena Miss have a lots of work to do. I readily agreed but she said she don’t need any help. But the next day the work was not finished so principal suggested her to take my help. She had no other choice because others were not willing to stay back.We started the work by evening. There were some speeches to be. It had been a long day, with too much Powerpoint, and seminars lacking originality. Most everything that had been presented was material already published in the journals. Perhaps the rest of the week would get better, and day 1 was for those who had not kept up with their professional reading. I realized these events are good for me, if nothing else but for forcing me to step out and do a bit of networking. One never knows what interesting people, collaborative ideas for studies, or funding.
