I volunteered to help out the cook too which got me some lessons on the difference between cooking ashore and cooking at sea. That guy got more mileag...e out of his steam kettle than I thought possible.Once back on shore I got a line on a little 10-quart high-temperature electric kettle and got one ordered along with a small stainless steel table that I could bolt it to, and then bolted that to a ship's bulkhead. The electrician let me know that I couldn't use it unless the generator was running. Just then it was the landlord and said could he have a word in private. I was intrigued and went into his lounge. He explained that john had told everybody about our toilet romance. He thought it best I know and for that I thanked him. He then said he would appreciate the same. Again I held my reserve until he took his. ‘Well we don’t have time to discuss this right now. Get this mess cleaned up and we will talk about it later. The caterers will be here any minute and my guests will be arriving in about an hour or so. We still have a lot to do before they get here,’ I said. ‘Yes, of course, sir. Right away!’ she said, scurrying to get the broken vase mess picked up and cleaned. A couple of minutes later she had the broken vase picked up and put in the trash. ‘Sir, I do hope that vase wasn’t too expensive. Of. .I guess yourgoing to need to take me bra shopping soon huh" I said with a bit of asmile. "I guess we will" she said trying to determine how to respond withme smiling. "You've been wearing one since you came out of surgery threedays ago. That's how they keep everything in place to start with" sheadded. "So what size am I" I tried to sound as light as possible. "You'rea 32C" mom said. "Same size as me" she continued. OK...I will admit...momlooked pretty nice in a bikini...and I was a bit.
