Today’s sunrise just broke over the La Jolla hills. The soft yellow sun rays were rushing through the openings of my third story, floor to ceiling w...indows, of the master bedroom suite. Those delicate rays illuminating the entire room brought with them the sweet melodies of the birds. The Man upstairs was providing us with bright blue skies and white-puffy-clouds this morning. My balcony doors on the opposite side of the suite were open to the beach below and the faint sounds of the waves. Brushing my long brown hair from my eyes I avoided eye contact, no need to give these fuckers any reason to notice me. Grabbing a menu I was having a hard time deciding what to get.The waitress a young, skinny, blonde with legs that went on for miles stopped, giving me a smile. No I already couldn't sleep hell I hadn't in days.The. She had her very own doorbell, in her very own apartment, and would be living with the man that she loved.
