“Ok.”I sat back on the bed, and pulled the blankets up over me, Justin was on the other side of the bed, if this is how we were going to spend the... night, it was going to be a long night. After about 10 minutes of laying there in silence, Justin rolled over away from me. Fuck this. I rolled up right against him and put my arm around his body and held him close to me. He grabbed my hand in approval and slowly rubbed it. I fell asleep without any issues. I woke up the next morning and Justin was. Apparently the guys on the other side of the bar thought so too. I heard guffaws and a couple of wolf-whistles and then the sound of the bartender telling them to calm down.My friend sat back down with a satisfied grin. Then the bartender came over to our table with an irritated look on his face.“I don’t know what you think you’re doing,” he said harshly, “But if you do that again you’re out of here!”My new friend smiled primly and leaned forward to whisper to him.“I’m sorry,” she said with her. " He walked over to the wall and turned a switch, dimming the lights in the room to a very low level. "Come on," be said.I got up and followed John to a stairway leading up to the balcony. We walked up together, arm in arm. When we reached the top, he took me in his arms and kissed me. All I could think of was Somers down below, watching my every move."Your mind's not on your work," John informed me."Your friend. How does Pat get along with him?" I asked."Hate each other's guts, naturally,". Like your own spirit guide, Jirra, mine left me with as manyquestions when we were done as I had before the dream started." Do any of them involve Alexis and I" asked Jirra."Directly, no. I really did need that vacation that brought me to thespa the first time. Meeting Alexis in the green room at Around Midnightwould have happened anyway. I really can't say what would have happenedotherwise. There is no roadmap for me to follow or for the people Imeet. As a writer yourself you should understand.
