I liked to eat at my desk as a perk for working outside of management’s hours since I worked on projects rather than field requests, so I would usua...lly head to the building’s fitness center to work out on my actual lunch break. I was into a set on the universal gym when Cindy wandered in. She made small talk and asked me if I knew any exercises to tone up her upper back, so I showed her a couple dumbbell and barbell rows. She remarked it was neat to see that I could teach something besides. I mean, she was probably 5'8" and even wearing jewelry barely got her weight over 100 pounds. But I knew she had the hots for me and well.... I was completely without experience. She was not. Rumors had it she had missed the first part of school that year as she recovered from an abortion. She knew what she was doing and so I was hopeful, but stupid.After sneaking out of the movie, we got in my car with no real plans where to go to make out. Next to her on their right was a tiny, withered, gibbering, woman who perhaps stood as tall as the one sitting down. She wore a shift with clumps of leather pouches and odd trinkets hanging around her neck and waist. Her hair was white and bushy with age. She hefted her walking stick around waving her arms and stomping her feet, and continued to chant into the fire ignoring them.Kaarthen could feel the flow of magic from them both she realized.
