I can’t....’ Damien said nodding his head. ‘However, I would advise you not to do it, since he’s under investigation and you have made allegations against him. It would look a little contradictory and could jeopardise the integrity of the whole process.’ He silently prayed for her to believe him. A long moment of silence filtered the air.
